Teagan Teasley

Teagan Teasley, MA, CIT, is a soon to be Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) in Missouri. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Culver-Stockton College in May 2025. During her studies, Sara interned at Compass Health, where she worked with both adolescents and adults as a crisis response clinician. She specializes in supporting individuals with ADHD, emotional disturbances, trauma, anxiety, depression, and dual diagnoses.
Teagan is trained in Cognitive Behavioral practices and expanded her expertise at Compass Health, gaining experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques. Teagan utilizes an empathetic and strengths-based approach, collaborating with clients to help them recognize and build upon their strengths.
She works closely with clients to challenge life and relationship patterns that contribute to anxiety and depression. Teagan’s professional interests include Autism, trauma/PTSD, self-esteem, attachment, identity development (including LGBTQIA identities). Teagan is particularly interested and passionate about how trauma impacts brain development and the role brain development plays in our everyday lives.
As a queer therapist and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ and sex-positive communities, Teagan is deeply committed to supporting others within these spaces.
Teagan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology & Criminal Justice with a minor in Child Advocacy from the Culver-Stockton College in 2019. After working with children who have experienced traumatic situations at a child advocacy center, she discovered a love for helping others heal from their hurts. This journey led her to pursue a career in mental health counseling. Teagan is excited to continue her professional growth under the supervision of Stephanie Stockham-Ronollo.
