    Holly Garcia

Holly Garcia, MS, PCA is a Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Oregon. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in June 2025.

Holly completed her internship in community mental health, where she gained experience supporting individuals across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, schizophrenia, complex trauma, substance use disorders, and dual diagnoses. She also worked with couples across diverse relationship dynamics and structures, including monogamous, open, and polyamorous relationships.

Holly integrates a range of evidence-based and body-centered approaches, including somatic therapy, Polyvagal-informed work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She is certified in trauma-informed therapy and telehealth services and is currently beginning her training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

A central lens of Holly’s work is understanding how deeply interconnected the nervous system is with how we experience and move through the world. Trauma can significantly impact the central nervous system, often leading to patterns that once served as protection but may no longer feel supportive. Holly works collaboratively with clients to gently regulate the nervous system and process trauma in ways that reduce its impact on daily life while fostering safety, resilience, and self-connection.

In her relationship work, Holly practices from a nonjudgmental and affirming stance. She supports partners in improving communication, navigating boundaries, repairing relational ruptures, and deepening emotional connection.

Prior to earning her master’s degree, Holly received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Law from Portland State University. She previously worked in various case management roles and developed strong skills in advocacy and resource navigation, which continue to inform her therapeutic work.

Holly brings over ten years of experience working alongside individuals navigating life obstacles that limited access to their fullest selves. She is passionate about walking with clients on their healing journeys with compassion, collaboration, and care.

Her contact information is as follows: phone 971-410-1373, email: [email protected], and fax: 314-787-9652.

Holly is currently serving clients in Oregon.

She accepts Aetna, Cigna, BCBS/Regence, and Providence. She hopes to accept OHP soon.
