Joanna Struttman

Joanna Struttman, MS, PLPC, is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), in the State of Missouri and a Professional Counselor Associate (PCA) in Oregon. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2021.
Joanna enjoys working with adolescents and adults. She is fond of helping these individuals figure out who they are and what their morals and values look like. She has experience helping clients cope with anxiety and depression, as well as other mental health concerns.
Previously, Joanna has worked with individuals struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. In addition, Joanna has provided counseling to children and adolescents in the foster care system.
Joanna believes that it is extremely difficult to make it through life without experiencing some form of trauma. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms. Joanna uses several different modalities and strives to meet clients where they are in their journey and assist them in becoming a better version of self.
